About MCS Hospital
MCS Hospital was started functioning in the year 2017 June 1st. Despite the presence of central and state government infrastructure and employees, health facilities in Muvattupuzha were surprisingly underdeveloped.
It is located in the city,market road, on Kothamangalam -Munnar route. This hospital was the realisation of a dream of the inmates of Muvattupuzha and nearby places. About 1334 share holders are there. Since advanced Medical facilities were woefully lacking in the town and the adjacent panchayaths before the commissioning of this Hospital which was formally performed by Sri. Pinarayi Vijayan, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala on 18th September 2017.
Within a short span of time we gained popularity and reputation in healthcare sector in Ernakulam District. We are happy to say that our dedication and hard wok was recognised by the Kerala Government Cooperative Ministry by a best performance award. More over we were able to get the national recognition of NABH at the entry level!
The Hospital with its cost effectiveness and good medical expertise has been attracting not only the residents of these areas since then but even those from distant areas. The Hospital has been rendering charitable services by way of free treatment to the needy poor admitted in general wards and implementing Health Insurance scheme.
Located on Market Road along the Kothamangalam–Munnar route, our hospital stands as a proud symbol of unity and hope for the people of Muvattupuzha and nearby areas. Established with the support of 1334 shareholders, it was born from a shared dream to bring quality healthcare to a region that once lacked advanced medical facilities. Inaugurated on 18th September 2017 by Sri. Pinarayi Vijayan, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Kerala, the hospital quickly earned the trust of the community through dedicated service, cost-effective treatment, and expert care. Our efforts were recognized with the Best Performance Award from the Kerala Government Cooperative Ministry and national NABH accreditation at the entry level. Today, patients not only from nearby towns but also from far-off places come to us for compassionate, affordable healthcare. We are deeply committed to serving everyone, especially the poor, through free treatments in general wards and inclusive health insurance plans—because at the heart of everything we do is the well-being of our people.
